Wine of the Week!
This wine is a steal: a Columbia Valley chardonnay for less than $10.
It has the eastern Washington trademark snappy acidity that enlivens the ripe apple and pear flavors, which makes it a great partner for a grilled chicken or creamy pasta.
No oak was harmed in making this wine. That's why it's called Naked: just pure, lively and likable chardonnay fruit.
Terry Flanagan, who grew up in the area, calls the winery his retirement project. The winery is named for his two sons. They specialize in Bordeaux-style red wines, but they obviously know their way around chardonnay.
Available at Centennial Fine Wine and Spirits and Sigel's Fine Wine and Spirits.
